Thought of this while reading the bible.

When said that the world was going to end in December 2012,
when he said that this was gonna happen & it happened, the 911 and stuff,
many people believed him.
I was reading the bible so here're some verses for you to ponder on.

Luke 21: 8-11:
8 He replied, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah, and saying, ‘The time has come!’ But don’t believe them.
9 And when you hear of wars and insurrections, don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end won’t follow immediately.”
10 Then he added, Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. "
11
There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.

This is what the bible, which has been around since long ago, says.

People claimed they were Jesus, no?
There are wars and stuff going on, but the end isn here yet, no?
Nation wars against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, no?
Sichuan earthquakes, terrifying tsinami, famine and plagues, e.g malaria, hand foot mouth disease, etc, in many lands, no?

Since these things were prophesied so long ago(since the bible existed),
why is it that people dont believe?
Because these prophecies took sooooo many years to fulfil?
